What to consider when planning
- The best time to travel. From October to April, Dubai has the most pleasant temperatures for outdoor weddings, with November to March often being especially lovely. In the height of summer, temperatures climb so high that an outdoor celebration is only viable to a limited extent.
- The right time of day. Even in the cooler season, a ceremony in the last hours before sunset is worth planning for: especially in the desert and by the sea, the light turns remarkably warm — often the most beautiful moment of the day.
- Legal matters. A bespoke wedding ceremony is a personal, symbolic celebration — it doesn't automatically replace the legal marriage. What options exist for a civil marriage in the United Arab Emirates depends, among other things, on nationality and personal circumstances. Many couples therefore get legally married at home beforehand, calmly and without stress, and organise the legal side independently of their bespoke ceremony in Dubai. The big advantage: your ceremony on site can then be designed completely freely — no prescribed wording, no fixed structure, just space for your story.
