Your wedding should be a truly special day – one you'll love looking back on, and hopefully tell stories about for many years to come. That's what I want to help create: a day that's truly yours, as individual as you are. That includes your own personal story – how you met, your first date, your first kiss, good times, hard times, everything that makes you who you are as a couple and strengthened your decision to spend your life together.
My mission is to bring that out and tell it – without clichés or worn-out platitudes about love, but authentic, romantic, funny and moving. Simply, you. A good wedding speech is an art in itself: it's not just about finding beautiful words, but about stirring the right emotions. I love moving people and finding the balance between humour and depth – reading the energy in the room and putting the connection between you and your guests into words.
Tears of joy, followed by warm laughter – that's what makes a wedding ceremony truly work.
The Ceremony
How does an independent ceremony actually unfold? Honestly, I'd love to say: exactly however suits you – because that's the beauty of it. There are no rigid rules. Of course, I do have a tried-and-tested structure that we adapt together to fit your vision. Here's a little glimpse of what it could look like:
Processional
The ceremony begins with a special moment: the bride's entrance, accompanied by music that means something to you. Goosebumps are often already in the air – and the first tears start to flow.
Welcome
I welcome you and your guests, ease the tension a little, and make sure everyone feels at home – including those experiencing an independent ceremony for the first time.
Your Story
Then comes the heart of it: I tell your story. Not with grand pathos, but with feeling – the small details that make you who you are, a wink where it fits, and honest depth where it counts. Together with your guests, you journey once more through your very own love story.
Vows & Ring Exchange
Your vows move everyone – and you seal them with the exchange of rings.
The Kiss
Your first kiss as a married couple – accompanied by your very own love song. The emotional high point, where it becomes clear: this is the beginning of your life together.
Recessional
To round it off, I share a few closing words before you leave as a newly married couple, accompanied by music and the applause of your delighted guests.
