Destination Wedding
Bespoke Wedding Ceremony in France
Between Mediterranean coastline, historic châteaux, and the landscapes of Provence – a ceremony as special as the place you've chosen for it.
France – A Destination with Many Faces
France can be elegant without feeling cold. Opulent without becoming loud. And completely relaxed even when the setting is extraordinary.
A villa high above the Mediterranean. A château among old trees. Lavender fields and vineyards in Provence. Or a historic courtyard right in the middle of Paris.
Hardly any country offers such a variety of places that instantly give a wedding atmosphere.
And perhaps that's exactly the appeal:
You don't have to settle on one particular idea of France.
You can find the place that feels like you.
Your Wedding. Your France.

On the Côte d'Azur
Deep blue sea, bright villas, and gardens full of cypress trees, pines, and bougainvillea.
From Saint-Tropez to Cannes to Antibes and the coast around Nice, the Côte d'Azur combines Mediterranean ease with an elegance that has drawn people from around the world for decades.
A bespoke wedding ceremony on a terrace above the sea, followed by dinner under the open sky and an evening that ends long after sunset.
Here, the setting can be extraordinary – without ever taking the spotlight away from you.

Between Vineyards and Lavender
Provence shows France's quieter side.
Old natural-stone houses, vineyards, olive trees, lavender fields, and small towns that look as though they've stayed unchanged for generations.
A wedding here needs no elaborate staging.
The garden of a historic mas. A long table beneath plane trees. The warm light of late afternoon.
A place where a wedding can be exclusive and wonderfully relaxed at the same time.

In a Historic Château
Few countries are as defined by castles, manor houses, and historic estates as France.
Many of them today combine centuries-old architecture with modern hospitality.
The ceremony in the park, the reception in front of the château, and later dinner in historic rooms or under the open sky.
Not because a wedding has to be fairy-tale-like.
But because some places lend a very particular calm and meaning through their history.

Amoratio in France
An extraordinary venue creates atmosphere.
But it doesn't yet tell your story.
That's exactly where Amoratio begins.
Our conversations are about you: the small moments behind the big decisions, your quirks, shared memories, and everything that makes your relationship unmistakably yours.
I listen closely – to what you say, and to what sometimes only becomes visible between the lines.
What emerges from this is a ceremony that isn't interchangeable, and that doesn't feel like a classic "wedding speech".
Personal. Stylish. Unmistakable.
And above all, one in which you and your guests truly recognise yourselves.
From Our First Conversation to Your Vows
A destination wedding in France is often planned over many months.
Your ceremony should still feel personal and straightforward.
After your enquiry, we first get to know each other and see whether Amoratio is the right fit for you and your wedding.
Then the most important part begins: your story.
In in-depth conversations, we talk about your shared journey, special people and moments, small quirks, and what makes your relationship special to you.
From this, your individual ceremony takes shape – tailored to you, your venue, and the atmosphere of your wedding in France.
On the day itself, I guide you through this moment, hold the frame, and at the same time leave enough room for everything that can't be planned.
Because it's often exactly these moments that stay with you afterwards.
When Is the Best Time for a Wedding in France?
Which months are especially suitable depends heavily on the region.
On the Côte d'Azur and in Provence, the wedding season begins as early as spring and stretches well into autumn.
May, June, September, and early October are often especially pleasant: warm enough for outdoor celebrations, but usually less hot than in high summer.
In July and August, temperatures in the south can rise significantly. A ceremony in the late afternoon or early evening is then recommended.
In Paris, the Loire Valley, or Bordeaux, late spring and early autumn are also especially appealing.
And in France in particular:
Temperature isn't the only thing that matters.
Light, landscape, and the atmosphere of a region also change with every season.
Where to Get Married in France?
Côte d'Azur
Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, and the coast in between stand for Mediterranean elegance. Private villas, historic hotels, and exceptional estates with sea views make the region especially attractive for international destination weddings.
Provence
Natural stone, vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields. Ideal for couples who want a more private and relaxed wedding – without giving up an extraordinary setting.
Paris
Historic architecture, elegant hotels, city mansions, and rooftop terraces. Paris is especially suited to couples who want an urban, stylish wedding with a distinctly French way of life.
The Loire Valley
Historic châteaux, sprawling parks, and some of France's most impressive castle landscapes. A region for weddings with plenty of privacy, history, and exceptional architecture.
Bordeaux & Southwest France
Wine estates, châteaux, and a landscape shaped by vineyards and historic properties. Especially appealing for weddings where good food, wine, and a long shared weekend are part of the whole experience.
Bespoke Wedding Ceremony and Civil Marriage in France
A bespoke wedding ceremony is a personal celebration and doesn't automatically replace the legal marriage.
Many couples therefore arrange the legal side independently and celebrate their personal vows with family and friends in France afterwards.
That keeps your bespoke wedding ceremony free of formal requirements.
No prescribed order of events. No standardised wording.
Instead, room for your story, your people, and exactly the moment you want to share with one another.
Are you planning your wedding in France and want a ceremony as personal as the place you've chosen for it?
Then tell me about you.
About your plans, your venue – and above all, your story.
