Bespoke Wedding Ceremony in Austria & Switzerland
Between mountain peaks, quiet lakes, and extraordinary venues – a ceremony that stays entirely focused on you.
When the Backdrop Is Already Extraordinary
A lake lying perfectly still between the mountains in the morning. A terrace overlooking the Alps. A historic estate, an elegant grand hotel, or a mountain lodge high above the valley.
Austria and Switzerland offer wedding venues that need barely any additional staging.
And perhaps that's exactly their particular appeal: the landscape is striking without being loud. It creates a frame – but it never takes the spotlight away from you.
Whether elegant by the lake, high up in the mountains, or entirely private in a special hideaway:
Your wedding can be just as individual as the place you choose for it.
Your Wedding. Your Alps.

By the Lake
Turquoise water, mountains on the horizon, and a terrace right at the water's edge.
From the Salzkammergut to Lake Zurich, from Lake Wörth to Lake Lucerne, weddings emerge here where nature and elegance come together effortlessly.
Especially in the evening, when the water grows calmer and the light behind the mountains turns softer, often nothing more is needed than you, your guests – and this one moment.

High Up in the Mountains
A ceremony with a view across the peaks has an atmosphere entirely its own.
Not just because of the view.
But because up there, so much suddenly feels further away: everyday life, appointments, everything that usually demands constant attention.
Whether a modern chalet, an exclusive mountain hotel, or a pared-back ceremony on an alpine pasture – up here, a wedding can be spectacular and remarkably intimate at the same time.

In an Extraordinary Venue
Historic castles, elegant hotels, modern architecture, or private estates: Austria and Switzerland in particular offer venues where tradition and contemporary style come together exceptionally well.
That could mean dinner in a historic hall, a ceremony in the garden of an old estate, or an entire wedding weekend in a hotel that becomes a shared home just for you and your guests.
It's not the size of the venue that makes the difference.
It's the feeling that it fits you exactly.

Amoratio in Austria & Switzerland
A spectacular view can make a moment special.
But it can't tell your story.
That's exactly where Amoratio begins.
Our conversations aren't about a list of typical wedding questions. They're about truly getting to know you: the small stories behind the big decisions, your quirks, your shared memories, and everything others might not notice at first glance.
Your ceremony takes shape from these conversations.
No template. No interchangeable love story. And no speech that could just as easily fit another couple.
Instead, a moment that feels like you.
Personal. Stylish. Unmistakable.
From Our First Conversation to Your Vows
After your enquiry, we first get to know each other personally and see whether Amoratio is the right fit for you and your wedding.
Then the most important part begins: your story.
In in-depth conversations, we talk about your shared journey, the people and moments that shaped you, your little quirks, and what makes your relationship special.
From this, your individual ceremony takes shape – tailored to you, your venue, and the atmosphere of your wedding.
On the day itself, I guide you through this moment, hold the frame, and at the same time leave enough room for everything that can't be planned.
Because a memorable ceremony isn't created by staging every minute perfectly.
It's created by feeling genuinely real.
When Is the Best Time for a Wedding in Austria or Switzerland?
Every season transforms the Alps – and with it, the atmosphere of a wedding.
Spring
The valleys turn green, the first warm days return, and many regions are still noticeably quieter than in high summer. Especially lovely for weddings by lakes or at lower elevations.
Summer
Long evenings, green mountain landscapes, and the widest range of outdoor options make the summer months especially popular. Temperatures at higher elevations can stay pleasant even in high summer.
Autumn
Perhaps the most underrated season for a wedding in the Alps. Clearer light, warm colours, and a quieter atmosphere create exceptional conditions, especially in September and early October.
Winter
Snow-covered mountains, crackling fires, candlelight, and elegant hotels transform the mood completely. A winter wedding in the Alps isn't an alternative to a summer wedding. It's an entirely different world.
Where to Get Married in Austria & Switzerland?
Salzburg & the Salzkammergut
Lakes, mountains, and historic architecture sit remarkably close together here. From Lake Wolfgang to Lake Fuschl to the city of Salzburg, very different possibilities emerge – from elegant to entirely nature-bound.
Tyrol & Vorarlberg
Alpine landscapes, modern chalets, and exceptional mountain hotels. Ideal for couples who deliberately move their wedding into the mountains and turn it into a whole weekend with their guests.
Carinthia & Lake Wörth
Water, mountains, and an almost Mediterranean way of life. Around Lake Wörth in particular, an elegant wedding by the water can be combined with Alpine scenery.
Zurich & Lake Lucerne
Urban elegance meets some of Switzerland's most impressive lake landscapes here. Perfect for couples who want to combine high-end hospitality, excellent dining, and nature.
Lucerne & Central Switzerland
A lake, historic architecture, and mountains create a backdrop that feels both classic and extraordinary. Especially appealing for international destination weddings with guests from different countries.
The Engadin, St. Moritz & the Swiss Alps
Wide valleys, clear mountain lakes, and some of the most exclusive hotels in the Alps. A region for weddings where landscape, architecture, and service come together at the highest level.
Bespoke Wedding Ceremony and Civil Marriage
A bespoke wedding ceremony is a personal celebration and doesn't replace the civil marriage.
Many couples therefore choose to arrange the legal side independently and celebrate their actual wedding ceremony at the place that means the most to them.
That gives you the greatest possible freedom for your bespoke wedding ceremony.
No prescribed wording. No fixed order of events.
Instead, a ceremony that revolves entirely around you.
Are you planning your wedding in Austria or Switzerland and want a ceremony that does justice to its extraordinary setting – without the place becoming more important than you?
Then tell me about you.
About your plans, your venue – and above all, your story.
